The administration area is for the people who operate the product, not for its customers.
Who sees it
The /admin area of the dashboard opens for accounts that hold a platform role: Platform admin (every platform permission) or Support (every view, plus exporting reports). Workspace roles never grant it.
What it shows
- Monthly recurring revenue, its trend, and the mix of paid plans.
- Paid, trial and past-due workspaces, with a notice that filters the past-due ones.
- Organizations, searchable by name and filtered by plan and status, each with its own page.
- Platform users, staff and the platform's roles and settings.
Suspending an organization
An organization can be suspended with a reason, after a confirmation, and reactivated later. Both are written to the audit log.
Staying out of workspaces
A platform admin reaches a workspace's projects only through a membership of that workspace, like anyone else. The administration area shows accounts and subscriptions, never a customer's project data.
