Invitations that respect your seats
4 min read
Pending invitations, seat limits and the moment someone accepts.
An invitation is not a seat
A pending invitation does not take a seat. The team page shows who is invited, with which role, and when each invitation expires.
The check happens at acceptance
When someone accepts, the API checks the signed token, the intended email, the expiry and the seats left, in one step. If another acceptance took the last seat a moment earlier, the person sees a clear message, and the owner sees a link to change plan.
Resend and revoke
An invitation can be resent, which renews its seven days, or revoked. Resending is limited, so an address cannot be flooded.
